Riots were never defined by the community that began it all. No religion propogates murders in the name of a belief system that is supposed to carry your soul out of this material realm. No guru, spitritual guide or saint will propogate the destruction of fellow conscious beings in the name of a God you prefer. As Sri Ramkrishna said, "Yato mat, Tato path", as many faiths so many paths. So what is the point in proving your path is better. Riots are guided by human beings, not a religion or a community. It is an act of violence as a result of insecurity, anger and vengeance, none of which can culminate into such a gory existence from a truly reigious or spiritual person. Riots are executed by the truly unreligious and unfaithful ones. The land of religions which should ideally give birth to a land of peace and acceptance, is an apologetic victime of violence. The weaponization of insecurity in the name of religion is a well prevailing phenomenon across religions, and not any one. Be it Jinnah on Direct Action Day, or Sajjan Kumar for 1984 Sikh riots or Gujrat Riots of 2002. Our country's spirituality and diversity of religions is a survivior of such acts and will continue to be so.
For amonst those self proclaimed protectors of religion and community's population, exist a select few that know their true religion. They sit in the backdrops, silent and unseen, laughing at the idiocy and absurdity of human beings. Meditating for humanity and a silent exit from this material world, praying to never come back to it again.
