Invincible

In a minute, my mind, soul and body are in absolute sync, just as aimed by yoga and meditation. A little 6 year old girl emerges, not crushed by fear and anxiety, but the one blooming with supremacy. When confidence was her skeletal structure, all set to change the world, starting with herself. Because if not her, then who? If she trusted one person in this world, it would be herself. The only one capable enough to make a subtle spark turn into fire. She is completely aware of the chaos she has the power to create, the power of creation lying in her tiny little brain. The power to create, the power to transform, the power to turn the world upside down, all it took her tiny little brain's decision. That same sensation of invincibility creeps into me now, the same 6 year old girl, now a blooming woman of 23. What changed? Expectations, self imposed and societal. Pressure to achieve as what would be considered successful by humans other than herself. Fear, of failure and ending up mediocre. These now act as limiting factors for her existence that once was invincible 24/7. A poet, a fashion designer, an orator, a singer, a mathematician, a leader, a runner, a tennis champion, a bureaucratic slave with power, but she never imagined herself as an engineer. Hence, life presented its irony or just showed the power she let external influences exert on her life. The brain now tamed into imagining the bare minimum for mere survival. However, there exist these peculiar, gregarious moments, when it felt like her body had been cut open to get some fresh air in. Invincibility gains power once again.
