Fear
It comes in the sneakiest of moments imaginable. Watching my tomato plant in the dull breeze of Kharagpur winds, as the sun transformed its colour from an unthinkable yellow to a lighter shade of ochre. The sky bleeded its monotonous blue into the universe, leaving behind an empty shade of unwanted white. That is when fear crept in. It acts as a parasite, attached to the emotion of uncertainity. Never has uncertainity clutched on to my life as it did so now. At this very moment. With every deep breath of fresh air trying to oil it out of my life, its roots get stronger as time acted as a catalyst. Fear. The unforeseen circumstance in an era of unknown.
